I am willing to make reparations, as long as trade resumes with Jove and Lord Adamorn decides not to invade my land. But I will swear an oath.
Are you willing to retract your threats to my son and take the oath that you will not harm him?

You see, I understand you and Bhakti are opposites and perhaps it may come that you two will indeed war against each other. That is between the two of you and I would prefer to steer clear of that battle.

But, I ask respectfully that you leave my son out of your designs for Bhakti. My son is hardly morsel enough for a god of your immense power.

Very well. On the Oath of the Allfather I will not harm your son, that is, the being known as Zephyr

Of course, Mutating things is not "harm," is it... It is making them more perfect, eh?

I'm not getting into a debate on semantics, Bhakti.

You are known for your lies, but the Oath likely prevents that. However, you are also known for loopholes. Even when taking the Oath of the Allfather. We are talking about my Son. Do you think something like "I won't harm your son" is good enough from you??? Try this:
On the Oath of the Allfather, I will never use Power on your Son in a way that you do not ask of me, nor lend Power to another if I suspect they will use it on your Son in a way that you do not ask of them.

But that is all that the Oath is; words, and the specific meaning that the words convey.

He's right, you made NO mention of NOT changing him, or doing anything else that the parents wouldnt approve of. Only that you wont harm him in, what we can only assume, is YOUR view.

However, your response to THIS Oath should prove interesting.

Actually, I was responding to Jove's statement. So if you have issue with the vagueness of the oath, take that up with Jove.

As interesting as your reasoning will be to still invade my lands.

Doesnt matter WHO you were responding to, the point still stands. And you STILL haven't responded to Bhakti OR I on whether you will swear his wording of the Oath.

Still invade? As if I had any other choice?

So if I swear the oath, will you still launch your attack despite that it will be a violation of justice?

I promise you this, Adamorn. If you so much as land a single soldier in Nor Pupae or Yekithii, you will suffer greatly. I am not speaking of some plague or blast of mutation - I am talking of a catastrophe. Additionally, my allies will no doubt stand beside me as we enact revenge. I have the greater armies and power, and a few weapons up my sleeves (to use a term).

Think on that.

I will not be drawn into some sort of twisted defense plan, Nor. Bhakti's child and our agressions are not connected.

That said, I am SURE that your "catastrophe" would only affect, MY lands, right? Be forwarned, that I might be breaking the Law once, by attacking you, but YOU will be breaking it many times over, should it spill out past me on "accident." I am tired of your threats Nor. If you want me, come and get me.

No. If you attack me, I will ensure that I remove you from this world. I am content to take over your lands without the need of expanding them further.

Now, if I swear that oath, will you as well swear an oath to maintain peace between us? As far as I can see, you really have no basis to attack me other than not swearing that oath.

Your track record is not so hot with previous promises, Nor. This will remain to be seen.

So, what part of "Bhakti's child and our agreesions not connected" didn't you understand?

Your second comment doesn't make much sense.

Neither did yours. You said previously:

I assumed you were speaking of the Oath not to harm, mutate, etc.. Bhakti and Jove's child. Were you speaking of another?

One that you would take in return for mine not to attack you?

I want an oath from you to stay away from my lands. if it means so much for me to swear an oath not to harm Bhakti's sapling, I would like to see something of equal worth from you. You want to invade me and break the oath . . . but I will capitalise from that attack and break your army if that happens.

Alright. I will say this one more time, and once only.

The topics of OUR agressions, and Bhakti and Jove's child ARE NOT CONNECTED.

I will make no oath involved with them, and will accept no Oath about them from you as some sort of deal. I am in no position to deal away in matters than involve their child. That said, do you have something else to offer for my Oath?

...........:haha:

Seriously? Your going to offer me my own life? Look. If I attack you, I know full well that I'm probably going to go down. So.... If I wanted to keep it I would just NOT attack. No Oath nessecary.

Got anything else?

Bhakti and Jove, if I swear this oath will you likewise swear to not do likewise to my lands, peoples and creations. Here I sit, willing to swear your oath.

Sounds a little one sided to me. All you have to swear to is their son, but you're asking for your entire populaces.
