lurch wrote:lorin..Thank you,,Glass and photography need light in order to work. Often, looking straight up , especially early morning and early dusk, the lighting is right for some interesting " back lit" shots up thru the cloud layers. . This one here is a Arizona sunset in a abstract way..Do you think you could turn it into a earring or earboble?
Here is some glass jewelry I have been working on. They reflect light different ways depending on what color it's been melted onto. These are rough pieces, not finished. The rectangular one reminds me most of your cloud pics. I was thinking of melting it onto black glass.

Here's one for Cho, taken on Maui at the end of January. In the foreground is Black Rock, in the background is Molokai.

Ah yes, between the random fuzzy blurs and close-ups of nostrils, I'm very glad to exist in the digital era.
Then there's the half-second that can be the difference between adorable snugglies and a vampire assault....
(She's actually about to sneeze there. Another half-second and it'd have been even funnier.)

Wild shots !..Lightning on the Canyon is best when far away..the further the better. It can be scary...like a Vampire cat...
A return to my favorite kind of cloud, Asperatus..They create a natural kind of Escher imprint on the mind.

Altostratus Duplicatus Undulatus,,,high layers of clouds going at different directions creates shear,,which cause the ripples or undulating of cloud. The shot was taken early morning:

That's too cute. Smart cat. Min used to mime when she wanted to play with her laser pointer, then look up at me like 'capiche, idiot?' They're pretty good at communication when they want to be, and we're still trying to figure out what 'meow' means.

yes lorin, Harry is a Golden...well...his mommy was a black lab, we had the dna thing done to find out what his daddy was, altho looking at him now you can pretty much tell daddy was a golden. it was a little less obvious when he was younger.
we're bringing him to efest so you'll get to meet him

Here's most of the Chaos Army. As usual, any group photo must include at least one silly face. I think it's in their contract.

You know, if I had my way I would have a dozen dogs and a dozen cats. But you get the pet you need, not the pet you want. Mya, aka helldog, prevents me form becoming the mad dog/cat lady living alone in the mountains.

Mine have always chosen me. I've never adopted the cat I originally went to the shelter to meet. It's always the one that looked at me and said "Yup, that's my new human. Ready to go home now."
