Today's my birthday, so I'm taking it easy. I thought I'd make a birthday thread, like I do every year, but I haven't technically been born yet (it happened around 4:50 PM, and it's 3:20 right now). Fie!
Also: bah! I used to say "bah" a lot but I've been neglecting that word. Bah.

Happy birthday, Foul!
I feel like I need a massage.

I carried a huge box of books halfway across the hospital campus, and and today my deltiods, triceps, and oblique muscles are all very sore. It rather hurts to sit up straight.

Happy birthday, LF.
Myself, I am feeling incredibly drained. Well, more the case of feeling light headed. I might lie down for some hours.

I already said Happy Birthday in the official thread for that, but I'll say it again here.

I feel good! I went on a shopping expedition for some things I'll need for my new place, and picked up a few other things as well. I got:
- a beautiful new set of dishware from Bed Bath and Beyond
a pretty set of silverware
a pillow for my bed
a new pair of pajamas
2 new anime: .hack//sign and Trinity Blood (volume 1 of each)
a replacement apple corer so I can bake apples again
When I was finished with that, I went to get my groceries for the coming week. Apparently all the hot single guys shop for groceries on Saturday night. I may have to make grocery shopping a Saturday night activity!
Anyhow, it was a good day altogether--even if I had to work tis morning!

Are you saying that as an unhot guy I can't shop for groceries on Saturday nights?

In the Arctic, the Arctic fox is just a fox.

I have a hard time believing that you'd blend in with the crowd, my friend. And a fox is a fox is a fox.

Yes, well. I'm not responsible for your lack of imagination.

I am frustrated. I keep trying to buy train tickets on the RENFE site for my trip to Spain in a couple of weeks...but I keep getting an error message. Arrgh. Will have to wait 'til tomorrow now to call customer service (and hope I can get someone who speaks English to tell me what I'm doing wrong).
The tickets are a lot cheaper if you buy them ahead of time on their website. I'm hoping there's not some dumb rule that you have to live in Spain in order to get the Web fares. There was nothing about country of residence in the fare description. I mean, I *think* my Spanish is good enough to have read it, if it was there.... Arrgh.

But in Spain one would, therefore, logically, the one place one is safe from the Spanish Inquisition.
