Bhakti, the lines you are quoting here are referring not to the child but to the actions of Argothoth and whether or not you knew of his actions, a question I am increasingly wondering about myself, since you are so adamantly ignoring it.Bhakti wrote:That's the first time you've even hinted at such a thing.Melirelle wrote:But I wouldn't have raised this issue if the God of Love had not been so acrimonious with me; for while I acknowledge my fault,
I bear no fault in the matter. I used a DRP to look for the child, but was unsuccessful. I have not demanded you give it to me, and have not demanded any role in the child's upbringing. I merely point out your actions to all.Melirelle wrote:he does not and yet

Let us spend a turn healing the damage already caused and considering our way forward.
For this turn at least. Let the inhabitants of Nor Pupae and Yekithi choose their own gods, let the map be drawn anew.
THIS is the plan i agree to. i grow so weary of the "he said she said" discussions that i no longer listen to what ANYone says.
i do NOT support any codicils to this plan (no matter how well intentioned) nor do i condone any action against my sister Melirelle for her association with Nor Yekith. whatever her position was, his departure has changed all that.
Bhakti and Melirelle WILL come to an agreement to either kill the child or each other fighting over the child, or some other solution to the situation.
you both have my blessings toward a peaceful solution.
i will promise no DRP to any other plan unless the Allfather will not agree to it.
if someone needs to go into the mists to speak with the Allfather, i'll do it.
if i die in the process, i want a Viking funeral.

You really do need to read your history, cousin.
Sister, I very strongly advise against this. It will not only affect you...Mithyaat Vam wrote: if someone needs to go into the mists to speak with the Allfather, i'll do it.

tend to your self Ogoncho. your comments frequently border on insolence and i have overlooked that long enough.
Astavyastataa Kadna and I can tend to ourselves.
i request that you leave off advising either of us.
please.

i dont think they are linked, i think we must petition the Allfather to approve Vadhaka's plan by going into the mists.Jove wrote:I don't understand. Why do we have to go into the mists to get rid of the Star of Yekith.
I had no idea the two were linked.
i have no wish to wreak destruction on the world but i will risk my own destruction for this plan of Vadhaka's.

We do NOT.Jove wrote:I don't understand. Why do we have to go into the mists to get rid of the Star of Yekith.
I had no idea the two were linked.
I can DESTROY the STAR, if I am properly powered by the PANTHEON.
Vadhaka proposes petitioning the AllFather to do this for us ... and risk the deity who makes the attempt ... or all of Eiran!!
The choice is clear cousins - leave the STAR; help me DESTROY it; or risk yourselves and the WORLD on Vadhaka's approach. [To be fair to cousin Vadhaka, he may not have understood the implications of his suggestion!]
As you have shared previously ... your Dreams have soothed my mind thru the long eons of my sleep. I will NOT see such dreams lost. If the mists claim your life - I WILL DESTROY THIS EIRAN!Mithyaat Vam wrote:...but i will risk my own destruction for this plan of Vadhaka's.

So you would risk the destruction of Mithyaat Vam ... or Eiran itself?!!Jove wrote:That is why, Asta, YOU will not be the one doing the destruction.
Destruction must be avoided at all costs.
FOOLISH WENCH!! Think!! How will you count your treasures when this world is riven and reduced to rubble and dust!!

You know, if you came off of your high horse and listened for once, you would realize that I never once mentioned MV nor insinuated that she should destroy herself. As a matter of fact, I said that destruction should be avoided at all costs. You dolt!So you would risk the destruction of Mithyaat Vam ... or Eiran itself?!!
MV, I value your existence and I would not want you to risk yourself to enter the mists. There must be another way to solve this problem.
Asta, you thrive on destruction and constantly opt for any chance to destroy. Then you turn around and accuse me of wanting to destroy Eiran? Do you rave? That is your domain, not mine. Perhaps the god of madness has already put a hex on you.As you have shared previously ... your Dreams have soothed my mind thru the long eons of my sleep. I will NOT see such dreams lost. Rubble and dust, huh? No doubt that is what you would like. Asta, you have repeatedly asked for drp to destroy the Star. I would never give YOU drp to destroy anything.FOOLISH WENCH!! Think!! How will you count your treasures when this world is riven and reduced to rubble and dust!!

thank you sister Jove, i would rather not end my short time in this realm either but i am willing to go if it will cleanse the world of the taint of the black worm whose countenance still invades the dreams of all our peoples.
although Ogoncho is now engaged in further researches into the possiblity of one of us going into the mists, she recalls that the last time this occurred, Allfather warned that should we attempt it again it could mean the destruction of Eiren...it seems this may not be a viable option to petition Allfather.
is there another way to petition? or another way to pool the DRP and direct it?

Thank you sister for mentioning my research.
As I was still in the egg at the time, it would be very helpful if someone could give me an estimated date as to when Simjen entered the mists to petition the AllFather...
Let me make myself clear.Mithyaat Vam wrote:is there another way to petition? or another way to pool the DRP and direct it?
To do Vadhaka's plan does not require us to enter the mists that I know of, unless to deliver the DRP to the AllFather does require such. My concern was of the donation of so much power to a plan that we had no way of knowing if the AllFather would even consider. It was commented in other places that the only way we could ask the AllFather if he would even consider such a plan would be by petitioning him in the boiling mists, and said comment hinted at what would happen if such was done. This does not mean said plan will not work. It only means it might be a major waste of combined power.

it seems to me that if the only way to petition the Allfather with our request for Vadhaka's plan is for one of us to enter the mists and doing so would could cause the destruction of Eiren, the Allfather does not WISH to be petitioned for ANY reason.
i mean...is Allfather saying we can never petition him for anything?
there must be another way, yes?
