Congrats, Caam.
"It is not the literal past that rules us, save, possibly, in a biological sense. It is images of the past. Each new historical era mirrors itself in the picture and active mythology of its past or of a past borrowed from other cultures. It tests its sense of identity, of regress or new achievement against that past.”

Lore asked me for a short extension in order to vote, since he doesn't have net access... but I'll publish results tomorrow, anyway.Murrin wrote:Congrats, Caam.
Xar--Will we be seeing contest results before deadline? I ask because I'd be ready to submit now if I knew the results weren't coming until after.

Xar, last I heard, the guys will be without 'net access at home until at least Friday, and possibly into next week. I've seen Montresor on occasionally, probably from where he researches, but I don't know if Lore has any other access.Xar wrote:Lore asked me for a short extension in order to vote, since he doesn't have net access... but I'll publish results tomorrow, anyway.Murrin wrote: Xar--Will we be seeing contest results before deadline? But if you DO have it ... Life is always ready to DEAL!!
I'm pretty sure the one on the map is still non-converted.
But Fist does have the tag for it from the Pantheon shop in his user items...

A floating city worshipping a deity who's feet have roots in the earth?! Ha! I do admire your lofty dreams.Fist and Faith wrote:Hey, if anybody wants to buy Peneldra, the Floating City, I'm taking offers. I need WGD's.
And congrats to Calais.
As for the contest - Lore and I are indeed without net access until probably well into next week. I am trying to work around this and have come up with a scheme so that Lore can still vote, but will understand if Xar can't give him another 24 hours.

For the next contest, Xar, if you have no preference on what to do, could I suggest the Myth/Legend one? I just had a particularly cool blessing from the Muses, and I'd like to start on it!

Congrats, all. Me, I'm kind of bummed. First time I haven't taken first in one I entered, and I don't even place. Guess Haiku/Renga doesn't get the love.
