A combination of fog, cloud cover and the sunset has turned everything I can see outside the house sepia-toned. I don't think I've ever seen that happen before.

I feel tired, but good. I just got to have lunch with my best friend, AND got a unexpected phonecall that brought good news. But then my phone ran out of battery.

Better today. RENFE rustled me up a fellow who might well have been a native English speaker. I am beginning to think I might not need much Spanish at all for this trip. Which is good, because "not much Spanish" is about what I've got. 
Anyhow, it turned out I was doing something stupid. Got my train tickets (Madrid-Sevilla and Grenada-Madrid) and my bus ticket (Sevilla-Grenada). Yay!
After that, I spent the rest of the day writing. Still gotta clean out the catboxes, but other than that, I think I'm ready to go back to work tomorrow in reasonably good order. Can I has a three-day weekend every week?

So there I was...sunday night....doing a little writting...started a new chapter of a story I'm working on...My note and outlines are in my truck-at work-so I decided to wing it.
Good job too...got a few pages in a couple of hours.
Damn.

Gosh...it's hot here today.
And I'm grumpy as I've got less than an hour before I have to pick up SoS from kindergarten...and I seem to have got done *nothing* today!

Oh, and Drew...I hate it when that happens...hence why I always write things freehand and type them up later! I don't trust modern technology (or myself not to do something stupid!).

Aww, Lore. It's lonely when that happens.
I have an IM friend I got used to being able to chat with for hours who recently started a new job without computer access. It's an adjustment for sure.

I feel as though I didn't get enough sleep last night. And I have too much to do today. Maybe I will feel better when I finish this cup of tea.
And I have to head off to the dentist to get a filling replaced in about half an hour. Ouchy!

I feel lazy and disgruntled today. My house is a mess, I've still got more laundry to do and today is my son's well-baby visit. He'll be getting shots. I HATE the shots. Seeing him scream in pain is the worst kind of torture. Ever.
