Led Zep
I voted for In Through The Out Door. Possibly because it was the first Zep CD I had bought and listened to, so it made a huge impression on me. All Of My Love moved me deeply, which is maybe an unmanly way to describe a Zeppelin song, but hey, it shows the depth of the band's songwriting, right to the very end. Carouselambra totally bowled me over when I first listened to it. I still have no idea what the hell the song is about, but that's probably beside the point!
When I first heard When The Levee Breaks, I immediately saw in my mind the scene in The Illearth War where we see Kinslaughterer standing at the levee(!) down at Coercri trying to raise the sea with his fragment of the Illearth Stone. The aggressive, pounding power of that song just seemed to perfectly match the elemental fury of the water, the rage & hate of turiya Raver, and the desperate situation of Hyrim & The Bloodguard...
Just the initial rumble of Bonham's drums sets up the dark mood of the scene!
