More importantly, how is Linden going to remove the large metal krill that's been up her butt?

Hey I was right about the Krill...maybe not the circumstances though.

Maybe there could have been a sea battle between the nicor and the merewives, with Brinn and cail as the respective generals. Or maybe he should have sent Linden right back home, and hooked back up with Lena--they're both dead afterall!--then at the end he could have smiled for Joan again...right before Lena stabbed her in the back with the Krill.

SRD on the GI today regarding the synopsis on Amazon:
I'm actually quite angry about this. My UK publisher asked me for a synopsis which I was led to believe would be for "in-house" use only: forewarning salesmen, prepping art and marketing departments, that sort of thing. So I tossed off the "teaser" you've quoted--and was horrified to see it "go public" on amazon.co.uk almost immediately. I've already complained to my publisher; but unfortunately that doesn't undo the damage. In addition, announcing an October 2007 release date at this stage is pure fabrication.

So, yes, I wrote that; and, no, I did not intend it to be made public. For the sake of what I call "a level playing field," I'm posting this on my site. And to protect readers who really don't want to feel cheated in advance, I'm posting it under "spoilers".

Please accept my regrets.

I'll have more to say-shee haven't even scratched the notes. I do remember one very interesting point the read made about,
Spoiler
"Anele being totally focused elsewhere, upon the arrival (or existence of) of Covenant and Jeremiah"
And I'll have to try recount the question he asked me before the booksigning-"Do you think the read was too long last night?", "Well for someone pretending to take notes when you got to the last two pages I kept saying '*puff* I hope this is the last page...but it's just because there's a heck of a lot of detail, recap and action. They (Friday night's audience) would had have to have a very good knowledge of the series (and Runes) to be able to keep up." "I've been told by my readers (the people that preview his work) that Fatal Revenant is very action packed and moves quickly, I'm wondering if it's too much.", "For half a chapter, yeah, **whew** (my god) but, that's what all your fans expect, taking it up to the next level...", (and which was the closest I've ever got to a sardonic wink-without it happening) "I'm not sure how many 'next levels' I've got in me..." 8)

I wanted to try to fly out ot the Bubicon (never been to one) so I am jealous as hell of Danlo's exposure to SRD.

I cannot wait for FR!

Hey John...tell him that I think Fatal Revenant is going to be absolutely fantastic!!! From what I've read here...it's going to blow me (all of us) away...just like before.

And I liked Runes. TC is dead so I didnt really expect him in any shape or form.

I'm just a fanboy and really enjoy being in the land again, from any perspective.

Just read this again, and now that I've seen the "real" Chapter 2, it seems that SRD did a great deal of editing between the 2nd and final editions.
