Jay, a thought. I think your name is on the reserved usernames list, to stop people impersonating you. Find it, remove it, change your name back.

Attachments are chains. Only by letting go of everything can we be truly free. Embrace this opportunity, Jay!

You could go directly into the database and remove your name. what db does this site use?

So I'm confused. What does jay need? His old username back or posts?

Both; his name - and his accurate post count! [Hey ... was it you that .... ;) ]

Hey Vain. The posts aren't a big deal. I was just curious why they went poof. It may have been an accident on my part. I know how I can change my posts back. The only small detail is that I have no way of knowing exactly how many posts I had before, so I just have to guess.

My main problem is that it won't let me change my name back to "kevinswatch". It says the name is already taken.

Any ideas? Heh. Thanks Vain.-jay

The implications are staggering.

Clearly you must reinvent yourself, dude. You've been locked out of your self by your Self.

(If you're going to try to reclaim your self, plz to be not bringing the AOT down around you kthnx?) (trembles)

OK, I think that's all fixed. Your post count is accurate for this version of the watch. I think prevvious EZBoard post counts are largely academic :)

Ah, thanks a lot with the name, Vain. That's great.

And nice try with the posts, but it's still a bit off. I know I had about as many posts as A, around 2600. But I can just change that myself. :P

Thanks a lot for your help.-jay
