I really do think that WKRP was the funniest sitcom of all time. I'd put it above MASH and I Love Lucy any day of the week.

I loved Soap, but it didn't age well. I remember Nick did a marathon 12 or 13 years ago and it just didn't stand up well.
Taxi was good, but I think Andy Kaufman ruined the show.
No argument about Newhart....Really funny show.
Seinfeld (to me) was moderatly funny when it was on but doesn't stand up to repeated viewings.
The Odd Couple had it's moments, but I wouldn't include it in this company.

FWIW, the 1st season will be on DVD as of April 24. No word on whether the original music will be intact. I won't buy it unless it is.

Well, the DVD set will be out on the 24th, and I won't be buying it.
I've heard that the transfers are beautiful and the commentaries are excellent, but all the old music is gone, and the shows are the 22-minute syndication cuts rather than the original cuts.
