Murrin is right, sudoku has very little to do with numbers. Just place holders.
They do them in elemntary schools with symbols

Easy!!! My sudoku score is soooooo NEGATIVE - I'll never see the light of positive numbers!!!
Vain is my only hope!!!!
[Of course resetting the Board that time and 'buying' 20 numbers may have something to do with it!!

Hey, in the cutthroat world of internet forums, I guess we gotta stay competitive.

I am so loving it! One more reason not to get all my work done!

This is good practice for me. The Sudoku puzzle on the Washington Post website lets you mark each square with the numbers that *could* go there (Sudoku crib notes!). I do basically the same thing with the pencil-and-paper versions: put in the possibilities in teeny print. Then came the day when I was feeling pretty good about my ability to do these bloody puzzles, and Younger Daughter (who does them with a *pen*) said, "Now try doing it without the little numbers." Arrgh. So this is good -- there's no way to put in the crib notes...

Vain- If I get fired for playing too much sudoku, I'm coming to live on your couch. So there.

I'm stuck on number 8. It's killing me. Really, truly, and frustratingly stuck. I may just throw in the towel...
ARGHHHHH!!!!!

The worst part was how poorly I typed that last post....

Fun. The easy level is
really easy, but it loads really slowly on dial-up, so I'm not likely to make a habit of it.
I'll stick to my
Snoodoku.
Well, actually, I'm playing
this version, since I have a Mac.

It's getting tough now--I'm on "difficult", and I had to buy a number on the last one.

Okay, so it's not just me, then? I'm terrible at logic games, but those first few were pretty simple...
I usually play at
Web Sudoku. It's easy to manipulate, and it's got a timer. Also a pause button, apparently. Gonna need that one.

I hate the timer at Web Sudoku. It shows how lame I am compared with other players. "You finished this puzzle in 5:37 -- the average is 3:29!" Arrgh.

Today I found out that if you stop playing a game in the middle, close the browser, and come back a day or two later, the half-played game is saved and you can continue playing from wherever you left off.

Praise Jebus for that - my browser's been spontaneously closing of late, and I was going nuts trying to do them before I get the inevitable crash.
