Taking a short break from the Christmas Chaos (the noise level in this house at the moment could literally break the sound barrier I think). I posted this in Stephen's thread, but thought I would do the same here.

Love, Light and Joy to all!!

From the Nativity Story:

The Almighty has done great things
And Holy is His name
He has sowed strength with His arm
He has scattered the proud
He has filled the hungry with good things
And the rich He has sent away empty
He has brought down rulers from their thrones
And has exalted those who are humble...

"for unto you is born this day in the city of David a Saviour, who is Christ the Lord" --Luke 2:11 KJV

Merry Christmas to all of my friends here at the Watch. May the joy and warmth of this glorious season fill all your hearts and may you always find peace.

"Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace, good will to all" Luke 2:14 KJV

:hearts:

We do not talk about the santa smilies. Ever.

:D

Well, it's already the next day here, but I hope everybody who celebrates it, and everybody who doesn't, had a good one. :D

Nah, that doesn't happen until January 7th.
After the tree comes down at the end of Epiphany...

Our tree stays up until after the Epiphany :)

Hope everyone had a happy one! I pretty much slept all day Friday and yesterday we had another storm blow thru which knocked out the power again. Winters on the mountain can be such fun.

Shoot, you guys are pikers. I've been known to still be vacuuming up pine needles in July.

Today is Ukrainian Christmas!

(The holiday falls in early January because Orthodox Ukrainians use the Julian calendar, not the more widely used Gregorian calendar.)
