Just watched this for the second time this weekend, and I enjoyed it even more than the first.
This film is about so many things that doesn't appear to be about...

This film is, technically, one of the greatest achievements of cinema history. It's SO well done you don't even see how jaw droppingly hard this movie must have been to make. The 20 minute cut at the end of the film floors me every time I watch the movie.
This movie is -
One of the best science fiction movies of all time
One of the best thrillers of all time
One of the best apocalyptic movies of all time
One of the best action movies of all time
It is everything I go to the movies for. In 30 years, this is going to be remembered. In 100 years, it's going to be remembered.

I'd fix it, but it's a monument to Guns.

I just watched this movie again. I think what I really like about it is how it reminds us how tenuous society is. How fragile we all really are.
Life can turn on a dime.
Still in my top 10 despite the holes in the storyline.

It's one of those ones that just sticks with you.
