Well, I got Kim off this morning. Her friend came down all the way from Rhinelander last night to see her off this morning! that a drive of almost 300 miles! What a great gal.

Anyway, Kim is nervous, anxious excited, and SICK! Despite my best efforts, she has contracted my cold. Eep!

Well, we are coming down to it...I go to Chicago tomorrow morning...Kimmy is having the time of her life. Her outfit was selected, fitted and approved by ,,,

TIM GUNN (Project Runway) Her makeup is being done by

BOBBY BROWN (the renowned makeup artist, not the crack -smoker)...and her hair is being done by

KEN PAVES (I think...he is Jessica Simpson's hair dresser)

I'll be having to beat the boys back with a stick (my ugly stick, that is!)!

All in all, I am actually a tad nervous! I KNOW OPRAH is going to ask me what I think, and I have this uncomfy notion I'll just drop trou instead of enunciate a response.

Well I am exhausted! Got back a bit ago...I'll make the long story short here...

My wife is a freakin' fabulous babe, with legs that not only won't quit, they wont take 5 for coffee!

RORWRF!!

The show will likely air Feb 5th. ..but I'll confirm.

They didn't talk to me (or any of the families), but I was seated about four rows back and should get plenty of face time.... AND they showed in the studio (will they show it on Tv?) a picture of me and kimmy about 11 years ago where I am all long-haired, side-burned, etc.

Anyway, it was a fantastric day, and I was sooooo very pround of my wife!

Here's the deal though...they went out of their way to make her look BAD in their "before pic"..in fact I am not convinced that they didn't digitally mess with her... so that the after would be spectacular.

Winfrey's staff was great, too, btw. They did everything just right annd made sure Kim was well-taken care of!

Well it is confirmed!!! The airing is 2/5!!!!! Kim is only on for like 2-3 minutes, shoul be abou 1/2 way through? I am wearing a green sweater over a shirt and tie (also green). Look for the goatee and specs too! I am about four rows up on the left end of the middle section, one seat in on the aisle!

I'll be the one drooling!
