Darth, any plans for Florida?

We may be driving to western Tennessee for me to attend another IRL gathering of posters from a cooking forum I frequent around the weekend of July 4th, and then head to north Georgia and camp in the Chattahoochee National Forest until the day after opening day of Beorn's camp on July 11th.

But that is all very tentative still. The most likely scenario is that we will drive the 12 hours to Clayton, GA to drop Beorn off on opening day, stay overnight in Clayton, and return home on the 12th. Then we would do the same thing on August 5th and 6th at the close of camp.

If anything could be worked out around those dates, I would love to meet you, Darth!!

Hello people. Boiling hot here... I'm in Chattanooga at the moment. About a 2 and half hours drive from Nashville. It rocks, though for someone who comes from a place with no heat, this place is chafing.

Well he told me he's coming out to NM...maybe he can catch Bubonicon--why don't you and Chris pop over? Or maybe he can make it out to SF (which should never be missed when touring the US, perhaps our most beautiful city) (...except for Broadway and Big Al's :wink: )

It's excellent, the people are very kind and hospitable. I've stayed a different place every night since I've been here... it's been difficult, because my cell phone doesn't work over here, and after trying to call Cate for the umpteeth time, it died; and I can't recharge it... so I've had difficulty knowing what's happening next, but I love that. I love not knowing who I'm going to meet around the next corner, or what's gonna happen. From what little I've seen of the U.S, I love it. :D
