Just got an eerily close second place in my THIRD tv-quiz show! I was 2 km/hour from winning 8000$ DANGNABBIT!

I won 2 tickets to see Def Leppard last fall from a radio station, I sold them on ebay for $200.

I've never participated in the Roll up the Rim thing. I'm just not a Tim Horton's regular, although I do like their donuts. When I go out for coffee, it's usually at Second Cup.

I've eaten at Tim Horton's before. Most recently in Winnepeg, Manitoba. We don't have any of them remotely close to where I live. They do have great Timbits(we won't even talk about what this makes me think of), and really good frozen coffee beverages.
As for winning things, I've been pretty lucky. Last fall I won $75 in bingo at our work picnic. Christmas 2004 I won a $200 portable dvd player at the work Christmas party. Nothing really big since those, recently, anyway.

Haven't been able to afford any Tim's (or much else) the last few days.
Although I'm supposed toget tomorrow...the Odds are one in nine; if I buy three, that'll put me back over the edge...I'm SURE to win something.

heheh, yah, we are a bit nuts.
It's a combo of marketing and that Tim Horton's is a (debatable) part of our national psyche ...

Actually, 4 cups..the little cutie behind the counter gave me an extra cup to roll up...
The Fed EX guy who deliveres the same area as me gave me free coffee tab that he had won...apparantly he's won Three!
