Well, I finally made it over to this forum. It had been so long since I read Mordant's Need I wanted to read them again before I jumped over here, so as to be able to contribute intelligently. So I just finished them, and I hop over here to find a new group read just starting. :?

Oh well...I won't mind reading them again. I had forgotten how good they were. And maybe this way I won't be tempted to read ahead. 8) 8)

Not only did I have 2 make the 500th post in MN but need 2 ask the age old question: Where is every1? Yes u're getting psyched and prepped 4 ur 4th of July or vacation with ur silly heads stuck deep in The Illearth War or some Harry Potter book. Take a break and return 2 Orison! :D (geez even Dissecting has as many topics as MN now...that just will not do..we need 2 whack whomever is the mod over there in the head! With a flurry of posts here! :D)

well its so hard to be everywhere at once .. been away but will pop in as often as i can .. and in a way its kinda cool that the read is going so slowly .. it makes it easier for me to catch up ;) ;)

nothing if not selfish ;) :p

As I have been very rarely on the watch lately I find that the place I check first here is this place, which has a kind of slow pace with which I can keep up. :)

Just wanted to say: I find Mordant's Need is easier to recommend to others (people who haven't read any SRD) than the Covenant books, because it's an inventive blend of fantasy, sci/fi, mystery, romance and horror with all likable protagonists, whereas I am less comfortable recommending the Covenant books to people because of Covenant's crime against Lena so early in the story.
