now that isn't very pc.
super breath is also on the list. because when Superman was pushing planets around the super cold breath is what made bad guys really think twice about attacking Metropolis.

Dude, you're reminding me of that scene in Superman Returns where Supes saves the shuttle and rescues the people in the jet. That part where he huffs and you can see the air coming out of his nostrils; that was an awesome beginning of what is probably my favorite comics-movie scene of all time. Compared to that, the super-power of sticking one's hand up the ass of a wooden dummy whose face looks uncomfortably like that of a serial killer (and who wouldn't have a terrible look on their face if they had a giant hand up their ass) and then pretending to talk through said compromised wooden dummy can only be described as gay.

We don't really need to see a Champions #1 cover again, but this copy is mine, and I wanted to try out my new scanner.

2011 series
Marvel launched a new Defenders series in December 2011, written by Matt Fraction and drawn by Terry Dodson. The new book features Doctor Strange, Red She-Hulk, Namor, the Silver Surfer and Iron Fist. The new series follows the reunion of the Defenders in Fear Itself: The Deep.

I am enjoying it so far - though Red She Hulk is a real clumsy name. but she is a good substitution for Hulk and Iron Fist works well within the team. Surfer doesn't do a lot for me, but I've enjoyed reading about Subby since the Invaders comic back in the 70's. interested in seeing what the second storyline involves.

In July 2016, Marvel announced the debut of the Champions, a team of teenage superheroes who became disillusioned with their predecessors and split off from the Avengers following the events of Civil War II. The team, featured in a series by writer Mark Waid and artist Humberto Ramos, initially consists of Ms. Marvel (Kamala Khan), Spider-Man (Miles Morales), Nova (Sam Alexander), Hulk (Amadeus Cho), Viv Vision, and a teenage version of Cyclops.[1][2] Executive Editor Tom Brevoort stated that while these are the initial members, the roster is subject to change not unlike the Avengers. Brevoort also stated that the purpose of the team is to "reclaim and redefine in a classic sense what being a superhero should mean. Rather than seeing the previous generation as these icons that came before them, now they've interacted with them on a one-to-one basis and learned they aren't better or worse than anybody else."[3] Brevoort explained that the characters chose the name Champions to distance themselves from the Avengers and wanted something decidedly upbeat.[4] Brevoort also revealed that he had a list of several other names in case the trademark dispute with Heroic Publishing, who owned the name, fell through.[3]
