You need to forward this map to Al Gore so he can use in his next movie. God help us all if this is what the future holds.

Sure they will. Hey, do you have this book?
It's an early Michael Golden book; someone sent it to me and I already have a copy.

two questions...
who is the girl in purple?
who sends you comics?

you are the only person to send them to me.

The girl in purple is Alianna Hubbard (the only human ever trained as a Female Fury). She first appears in this book; you'll get to read all about her when I send my extra copy to you. I think she was going to be a regular, but Mr. Miracle was cancelled after this issue; I don't know if the storyline was ever followed up on.

thank you sir.
i really wish DC would collect the Canceled Comic Calvacade and release it.
en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cancelled_Comics_Cavalcade
or even better? run the Freedom Fighters collection and add the last issue.

In this case, the guy who sold me MM #'s 11 & 12 took so long to ship he felt guilty and threw in a few extras. Usually, I just buy set of comics and end up with doubles, or I get 'filler' issues in real bad shape and later replace them, or, like the #1, it was cheap and I knew you'd want it.

well i thank you. it isn't easy getting comics for cheap like it used to be. yardsales don't have them anymore. people know they have something, even if they don't know what that something is.

Yeah, but down here it's more like people think they have something even thought they don't. That's why I don't bother with yard sales, and opt for comic stores, eBay, and conventions. Mile High Comics has been my favorite place to buy books since I was a kid.

i haven't been to a convention since 89 or 90. met Val Semeiks. we have a set of stores in Houston called Bedrock Comics. my friend sold them in the next town. but he moved to Austin.

Heh, here's a Kirby classic:
My copy, as you can see, is in NNM, or 'Nowhere Near Mint'

hell if it still readable, you are doing just fine. i keep the comics in bags, and that is the extent.

My copy of 200, however, comes a lot closer to NM:

while i love Kirby that run on Cap didn't seem his strongest. wasn't the Celestials around the same time?
en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Celestial_(comics)
yes it was. i liked that more.
i was reading the collected new gods stuff during my break. i had forgotten Goody Rickles appeared.

No, I haven't. I'm still deciding whether or not to attempt to get the original series. Well, more like deciding when I'll get them. I think I'll get the original Eternals first, as I have been keeping up with the new versions of that.
