That struck my funny-bone. Poppyseed in anything, huh? You might enjoy the lemon-poppyseed muffins that we have concocted... yes, the Mad Muffin idea is still alive, though it apparently hibernated for the winter...

ali...I love cream cheese omlettes, but there has to be a lot of cream cheese, and it has to be heated all the way through so it's at least softened.
...poppyseeds in the eggs...hmm...

Yeah. . . I can't see poppyseeds in eggs. But then, I am not a huge fan of eggs at all. I'll only eat them if they have been hard boiled (and then with a generous amount of salt and pepper), or in an omelet with veggies and cheese to change up the texture and taste.
I have texture issues with food.

Mmmm...lemon poppyseed muffins...MMMmmmm....
Yeah, the poppyseed in the eggs didn't work too well. The flavor kinda got lost.... I think what set me off was that I had a recipe at the time for a spinach noodle casserole with poppyseed and onion, and some sort of creamy sauce -- sour cream based, maybe? I tried to recreate that recipe a couple of months ago but didn't have a lot of success. It was off the box of spinach noodles, and like a dope I didn't save it.
None of that has anything to do with eggs, tho....
