And thus were all the dieties of Eiran made impotent.
Brid wins.
But Brid is bored, and may be willing to retract the curse, in return for....?
Brid!!!
Me thinks you should at least lift it from your Court mates...

Players assume the aspect of deities, and rule absolutely in their sphere, in conflict or co-operation with the other deities. It's great fun...but Xar has been a bit busy, and we're
eagerly awaiting our fix.

I don't think I'm quite ready for RPGs just yet. Last time I peeked into Gravin Threndor, I became inexplicable confused and afraid.

Try just looking at the Pantheon sub-forum. There's a couple threads that, at their beginnings, explain things.

I've decided us Pantheones need something to keep us occupied. I've proposed a new game. Check the GT forum for info.

That's the part that confused and scared me. I didn't even get to the rest of it.

I hope it does a better job than Menolly. I asked her about it at Seafest and she completely lost me.

Anyway, you get to be the deity of your chosen domain. God of Forests. Goddessof Earth. God of War. Goddess of Light. Etcetcetc.
You use your divine power in whatever ways you can come up with. The amount of divine power you have depends on how many worshipers you have, and the strength of their faith.
You can try to make friends with some, and work together, or at least not have to worry about being bothered by them. Intentionally or not, you might have enemies, and that can lead to all manner of craziness.

Think of it as the only true free-roaming game possible. There are no effective limitations but your imagination. If it were possible to write graphics for it, it would destroy things like WoW. Luckily, we can use our imaginations instead.

Who ever said an addict can explain their addiction?

Well, I can understand
that. Sort of.

I fear. I fear that it would make me addicted too. So I will politely go away and play Guitar Hero II (this week's obsessive passtime).

Fear not. Pantheon is looking less and less likely to continue. But even if it does, it will be at a slower pace than even the least addicted of us wants. Alas, Xar has a *grumble grumble* real life that has become a bit more complicated lately. Something about pursuing a PhD, or some sort of waste of time like that. *sigh*
