Finally an Iron Man cover that doesn't show shellhead getting the @#$% kicked out of him. :-)

Isn't that the issue where he actually defeats the Hulk, and his armor fuses, and Ant Man has to come help him out next issue?

I wasn't sure it was that issue. But that's one of my favorite punches of all comic books, when IM puts every bit of his armor's power into it.

Another is when Karate Kid's fist comes out of a robot's chest. We didn't even know KK was behind the robot until then. Heh.

All kind of up there with Scotty saying, "Laddie? Don't you think you should... rephrase that?" "Yes, you're right. I didn't mean to say the Enterprise should be hauling away garbage. I meant to say it should be hauled away as garbage! HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA" POW!!!!

is that arno stark?

No, it's worse than that, by far. It was the 'corrupted by Kang' Tony Stark vs. the '15 year old from a parallel universe' Tony Stark. At least, that's what I think it was. Things got really confusing back then. If the 'Onslaught' crossover had a redeeming quality, it was eliminating this story arc.

young Stark was just asinine...

I let him win. I figured that since he was an alcoholic with a bad ticker, he'd go out and celebrate by getting drunk and having a heart attack, ridding me of him forever. I underestimated how drunk he was when he designed that armor of his, though. Too bad he knocked me out; I could have gotten him out of that tin suit in seconds!

I didn't think you "figured" anything, Bub.
You know I think you were in your "Duh Duh" phase back then. You know "Hulk smash puny tin man!" Not exactly your best display of intellect. I know, I know. "Hulk is strongest one there is!" I get it. Where brains are insufficient brawn makes up for your flaws. I don't think "that" hulk would know how to open a can of tuna let alone peel the man out of the armor like a banana (though I'm sure he could have if the thought ever entered one's mind.) I'm not kidding myself. Hulk IS strongest one there is. :-)

You better hope I can't open a can of tuna, seeing as how that's what your head is floating in.

I think the left one is the tuner knob, while the right one is the volume.
