For Pearl Jam I would be pick one of their double live discs, one with most of my favorite songs on it. The Perth concert is a pretty good recent one...

I still haven't heard the last album, although the single I heard struck me as a bit mellow. I thought Binaural was a genuine return to form, though.

ok, i cant think of any single 10 cds...so ill just go with compilation cds from each of these bands...one each, of course...

Black Sabbath/Ozzy
Misfits/Samhain/Danzig
Type O Negative
Amon Amarth
Cradle of Filth
Autumn Tears
Dio
Emperor
Blind Guardian-Nightfall in Middle Earth(album)
Comp. cd of various artists...

this is always a tough thing to discuss...
Think on that, and be dismayed

-Siamese Dream, Smashing Pumpkins
-Legacy: The Absolute Best, the Doors
-In Utero, Nirvana
-Unplugged, Alice in Chains
-Wish You Were Here, Pink Floyd
-Mellon Collie and the Infinite Sadness, Smashing Pumpkins
-Purple, Stone Temple Pilots

-In Time: The Best of R.E.M. 1988-2003

Right now, this is what I would want to be listening to do for a while.

Okay you are right. Happy? You've made me cry. I will pull my own cd out and replace it with 2112. No problem. I just won't get to hear my wife sing but since you insist. Come to think of it I couldn't make it very long without hearing Boston/Don't Look Back or Vapors New Clear Days or Van Halen I. This is sure tough. Ooooh AC/DC Back in Black or ...

Of the ones that were mentioned today, I have:
Pink Floyd: Wish You Were Here
Led Zep: Two
Dire Straits: Love Over Gold
Pink Floyd: Dark Side Of the Moon

For this "starvation diet" I would have to make a humongous My Faves cd with many selections from:
Dave Carter & Tracy Grammer
Tom Petty
The Doors
Crash Test Dummies
Depeche Mode
Laurie Anderson
Kate Bush
Patti Smith
Danielle Spencer
The The
Pearl Jam early work
and the immortal Quicksilver album
