I'm hating it as well. It's looking pretty awful now. It only grows in certain places and it makes me look like a tramp or vagrant of some sort.
I can't wait for the end of November so I can get rid of it.
On the other hand, I don't miss the act of actually shaving AT ALL.

That's because they shave it.
Seriously, though, some facial hair can come in that early - I doubt that 11yo's get their five o'clock shadow at 10am, but unfortunately for most, facial hair does not grow at a uniform rate in uniform locations, and it starts in different places at different times.
Myself, if I went unshaven for any great length of time, I would look like the Mahdoubt's robe of many colours, done in hair

Mine even has the strange feature of being two distinctly different colours.
Most of it is dark brown like my hair, but interspersed with them are blond ones.

I have the same multi-tone effect , but my tones are dark blond and reddish brown, with the occasional uber-black wild hair.
So I keep the facial hair short and omni-present - I call it my Canadian Everyday look

An old friend and his bro had some sort of thing where they hit puberty really early. He's really hairy and somewhat short (because the puberty went by so quickly he hada shorter growth spurt). I think he had more hair on his chest at 14 or 15 then I do now (18).
I've let my beard grow since august, I don't think it looks that bad, but I don't really like the feeling so I'm getting rid of it soon.
I would never keep a mustache though, they don't grow right on me.

A photograph, as promised!
The burns have been going for a while longer, explaining their extra length. The rest has been unshaven since 01/11/07

I shaved it off first thing this morning. It's nice to have a smooth face, but I kind of miss it, in a strange way. I left the sideburns though, because they've turned out pretty well.
