I'm with Duchess...there are way better methods of losing weight than having your ticulitis diverted.....although I'm beginning to think that this diet is not one of them. :)

I am on a coffee and sugar diet. No brecky, no lunch... just coffee! For real... If I ate these two meals, I would blimp up like the Stay Puff dude.

Okay.....Survived 7 days on the diet and i must say looking back over the past week, i get two impressions.
a) I could not recall being hungry at any time whatsoever ....i could eat plenty and

b) I liked the soup....you could makes subtle changes to it to change the flavour.(even tho i whinged a lot)

AND I LOST 6 KGS....which is about 13 lbs. It will be interesting to see if i can keep the weight off.
(I dropped 1 dress size)

Hmmmmm.......I might just mail a copy of this diet to Michelin man....er I mean Vain. ;)

Is he having trouble fitting into that red dress again?

(speaking of, saw Requiem for a Dream the other night... depressing)

I seem to recall that he was complaining about his clothes not quite fitting him......of course I had no idea he was referring to his little red dress. :)

Requiem for a Dream??? I'll need more info on that one Syl. :)

Good movie, but only watch it if you like having your buttons pressed... like Trainspotting, but more of a downer than Traffic.

And sure ya did, gills-for-lungs. ;)

Wow 13lbs. in one week :o astounding!!!!!!!! I might have to try that. I gained 50lbs having a baby and I am still having trouble getting off. I haven't been on an official diet yet since Dante is still nursing and I don't want to jepordize that. But the extra wieght has got me really depressed so I thought about giving up nursing just to try some diet pills or something. But I said I would nurse till one year and I am sticking by it. So I'm stuck in pudgy land for now. :( I tried exercising like a fanatic but I gained more weight because I gained muscle it didn't make that much of difference to keep pushing myself so hard. Just two more months tho and then I will try anything short of cutting off a leg to lose weight. Haven't weighed myself in over a month because I am just afraid of what I will see. Most people say it is better if you don't anyway. We won't even buy a scale. :)

No clue Sky. I know as much about kilos as you do about pounds. We need a link to a converter of some sort.

And nursing made me hungry so I consumed alot while I was nursing. I drank like 60 ounces of juice and milk a day and I never realized how much fat and calories that was. I just thought I was doing a good job of keeping myself hydrated. But now I drink diet juice and low fat milk. Not helping tho. :(

Dante quit nursing a few weeks ago and I tried some all natural diet pills from GNC called Hydroxycut. But Syl had already used them too so there wasn't alot left and they are sooooooo expensive. As soon as I find another exercise plan that I like I think I will invest in some more.

you could see your doctor and get some advice .. I always worry about cure-alls like diet pills and wizzo dietary drinks and stuff ..

sensible eating, investing a little time which means patience and exercise is the best and healthiest medicine

to keep up with a burgeoning little Dante running around .. you'll need to stay healthy first and foremost .. i really worry about some of these diet fads and things :( ;)

Drink LOTS and LOTS of water ... and the weight will drop a bit.

Don't exercise .. it replaces fat with muscle, and muscle is heavier.

Best to reduce exercise so that more muscle is replaced with more fat, making you lighter.

ICK no........I hate plain water. I have to have something in it, even if it is just a squeeze of lemon. No matter where I live it taste stagnant. :P

Don't worry tho I won't get cracked out on pills or anything :!: I don't like fad diets either but there's nothing wrong with some "herbal" help. My doctor just says to exercise but he is testing my thyroid for problems and I am awaiting the results. And as soon as I get them I am going back to the gym and trying some aerobics designed to just get your heart rate up without building muscle.

lol .. and as far as not exercising .. lol .. exericise isnt all ugly .. lol .. its stil the most effective fat burning technique i think ;) and as far as packing on horrific muscle tissue .. that all depends on the way you exercise and the kind of exercise you do.

aerobic fitness is really important .. you dont have to look like a body builder to be aerobically fit and burn some unwanted fat ..

sounds to me like you got it all under control ;)

herbal isnt always optimal either .. just cos something says its a herbal mix or even all natural .. <which is always better> .. doesnt mean its not free from side affects or isnt malindicative.

but its always better than synthetic alternatives ;)

drinking water is really good .. and yeah if it tastes like crap .. a littel lemon is good .. or buying bottled water if your tap water is disgusting ;)

i know what yuo mean .. i was raised in Adelaide South Australia .. reputed to have the worst drinking water in the WORLD!!! so i hear you when you say the water aint that appealing ;)
