I can do whatever I want with my WoW. However, I have to edit the databases directly to do things like fiddle with monsters. The problem is, I'm having trouble finding the information for what class the monsters are. I don't want to make warrior-type and mage-type monsters all have the exact same HP.

I don't know if there's a repository of WoW mob stats, even the bestiary at Allakhazam only has spawn, level and loot details. I suppose it's all got to be in the game code somewhere, though I've no idea how you might get to look at it.
In unrelated news, behold the
Ten Golden Rules of Online Gaming, trueisms await!
Lag is a process whereby everyone in the game becomes better than you thanks to the Internet helping them become cheap. The Internet does this a lot, but never affects the enemies you kill yourself, because you have skills.

I agree. I don't buy an RTS unless it has good
single-player. I'd love to be good at
StarCraft, but that game is ingrained with older, skilled players, and it's incredibly hard to do well or even have fun.
A long time ago I gave a new game everyone was talking about called, Total Annihilation, a try...it was frenetic as hell and difficult and man was there a ton of units and complexity...it was too much for my Red-Alert lovin' @$$ ( you know, build large defensable base, build large group of tanks, go kill )...so I dropped it...
...then, a friend of mine popped it in one night last year at his place...OMG!!! Wow. So we gamed and gamed...I burned a copy and played it at home, then I went online...and got my @$$ handed to me time and again. It was truly embarresing.
But. I learned ALOT from those guys...I tend to stay with what works until it don't, and that's how I got a little better at TA...after a while it got kind of repetative...but still, gettin' yur butt kicked can be a good thing.
thought I was decent at these games...lol!
