My first concert was last summer. I went to EndFest, and saw a bunch of different bands, but the Smashing Pumpkins were headlining.

Hall and Oates? Captain and Tenille? Barry Manilow? I got all y'all beat. My first concert was Lee Greenwood, right after "God Bless the USA" came out. Lee was drunker than a monkey and fell off of the stage. That was the best part of the show.

Stevie Ray Vaughn and Joe Cocker in 1989? 1988? I was 14. That one show forever cemented my love of the blues.

BTW...my FIRST concert that I went to by myself (no parents) was in 1982 the "Long After Dark" (You Got Lucky) ...
