I had One lesson in Karate, and tried to kick a black belt's ass.

It didn't turn out as well for me, so I decided to blow up my GF's hand.

the kind you keep for a really long time

Since Jenn doesn't seem to be on at the moment, I'll invoke her spirit by saying "I bet a lot of people feel inadequate around you, Sherriff." :)

Not me; I just get drunk and make those around me feel inadequate.
You must be drunk all the time. ;)
If that's the case, then everyone must be feeling more inferior by the minute. [*hic*]

Only in the locker room. ;)

And no, I don't make it a habit to get drunk in locker rooms.
"It is not the literal past that rules us, save, possibly, in a biological sense. It is images of the past. Each new historical era mirrors itself in the picture and active mythology of its past or of a past borrowed from other cultures. It tests its sense of identity, of regress or new achievement against that past.”

Are there any pix of me and duchess in our outfits at the '04 Elohimfest?

Yeah, wasn't there an effort then to have everybody dress in ochre robes? I heard it kinda didn't work out --everybody had a different idea of what color ochre was....

Back when I had a wedding band, it was white gold.

Every now and then, I'll sing out, "Coming, Vagel!" and the kids look at me like I'm from another planet. (Well, okay, they do that a lot anyhow. It just gives me great pleasure to give them yet another reason to do so.... )

Well, I wouldn't dress up but I am known to mutter "hellfire" now and then.

We only dress up during our free time.

Sarge, if there is a low-budget TV Covenant movie in the future, it will surely include that boat. :P
