Sweet. Sorry, Ur-Dead

I'll give you right of first reply.
Actually, Banas Nimoram is the "
dark of the moon on the middle night of spring." The odds are only about 1/28 for it to occur in any given year, but...
The middle night of Spring is around May 5-6 and behold!! the dark of the moon is the same night!! Blessed be this most auspicious happenstance, it is beyond my ken to grasp the significance of such synchronicity. We must travel at once to Andelain.
Darn I was typing and responing to Jenn's request then posted.. you got me by 30 seconds.
May 15th is a special day for me.. It will be my last day at work.. I retire with 30 years of service and take some time off before looking for a P/T position.

Well I've never done a dissection before, but I'd love to do a chapter.
I think it's page 86 in the American edition (I referenced it in another post.) That's the chapter I want, I think. Although it's awful early in the dissection and I may be judged poorly. ::wrings hands and imitates Linden::
Hate to ask, but can someone look up that chapter for me? I won't have access to the book and the boards until tommorow afternoon.

Ur-Dead, if you want Melenkurion Skyweir I would happily take "The Long Journey of the Lost" or "Sons" instead.

Still looking for a chapter I can really get excited to do.
The two (yours and what relayer doing) IMO is two chapter of epic events. The next ones after Mele is also a very strong chapters.

Ur-Dead, If you want it, it's yours, I seriously honestly don't mind at all. I would be happy to do pretty much ANY chapter and if there are chapters left open when we start I will probably volunteer/beg for a second one. So by all means, if it catches your interest more so than other chapters, have at it and I'll take a different one.

What's the chapter where Jeremiah rubs snow on his chest...or is that "Interference"? Someone help me out here. I haven't got my book.
I'll have that one or...um...

I don't think Interference is the correct chapt. as Jer pops in at the last second--the following one is probably correct.

Danke, Danlo. "Defense of Revelstone" is the one I want to do.
Willing to take a second as well, if we're lacking.

We're signing up on a chapter-by-chapter discussion of "Fatal Revenant." Each dissection is led by a member, who begins by summarizing and analyzing the assigned chapter, and then we all join in the discussion. See any of the chapter reads in this forum for further info.
