I never liked half the people in those films.
Carrie-Ann Moss was badass, but she had a cold personality, unlike, say, Uma Thurman. I love the Matrix (duh!)
but the Trinity-Neo love story never worked for me.
Agreed.

Saying Carrie Ann Moss had a cold personality implies that she had a personality. Personally, I have a plank of wood in my garage with a mean face on it that, were I to draw boobies on it, would have more 'personality' than CAM when it comes to acting. Currently, said plank is a double for Keanu "Woah" Reaves.
The whole of the Matrix trilogy, aside from frustrating me by making everyone think they're a Philosophy (read: Bullshit) Doctorate (OMFG! Plato's Cave! No, I'd never heard of that before. So new and inventive, huh?), is the fact that, aside from Morpheus and Agent Smith, the idea seemed simply to be to dress everyone up in black leather and BAM! Movie.
[edit] Corrected spellings.

Totally agree. The Matrix = a couple of good fight scenes, and that's the only reason to see it.

I guess every generation has its Matrix Trilogy.
Just trying really hard to think of what the other ones were.

She would be. Good call, there.

I'll see your Summer Glau and raise you Gina Torres as Zoe.
She was SCARY... not that River wasn't once we found out she was a crazy "I'll kill everyone in sight and won't break a sweat" kind of person.

Good call. Aragorn should have dumped Arwen for Eowyn.
