Brad Dourif probably gave the best performance, in my eyes. Then again, he was in one of my favorite movies, One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest, so I'm a bit biased. But geez, what a guy.

Brad Dourif was in "One flew over the ...."? I just remember him as a guest star in B5 and as the guy who got slaughtered early on in Alien Resurrection.

We got ours today!! This is the first time I seen it...AWESOME!! Loved the Ents...hopefully there's more of them in the extended version. I thought the battle with the Balrog was fantastic! And Gollum, wow, great job with him!! They over embellished Helm's Deep quite a bit tho. Ah well, made for a great movie!!

Yes, we watched it today, wonderful movie.

On the second disc they had a preview of the extended version, looked like there will be quite a bit more of the ents and their herds of trees, more about Faramir and his relationships with his brother and father, and more of Gollum!

And, Lord Foul, I agree with you that ROTK looks like it will be awesome!!!!

We pre ordered it thru columbia house and it came yesterday. I watched the ROTK preview...looks AWESOME!! And watched the preview of the extended version...MORE ENTS!! Boromir and Faramir. And GOLLUM

Going to TRY and see ROTK in the theater this year. Missed TTT in the theaters.

Danlo put up the ROTK poster up over at the Hangar in the Tolkien forum -- all I can say is WOW!

Luckily I have a week off from work when it is due to be released, so I will be able to take my younger son the night it comes out.

For TTT they put tickets on sale ahead of time, so I will keep my eyes open and purchase tickets as soon as they become available.

I heard a rumour that FOTR and TTT will be screened again in cinemas just prior to the release of ROTK.....or something to that effect.

COULD IT BE TRUE????!!!!!!

Now I have to buy it! A trailer /preview of TROK. Must see...

Haven't you guys seen David Lynch's Dune from 1983. Brad Dourif plays a great part in it. He also plays a villain/serial killer with the ability to twist his body any way he wants i an episode of the X-files. Don't remember which season though...

well i refuse to buy TTT till the extended dvd comes out ..

i have however watched TTT last week when it came out .. hired it but

and it was awesome to see again!!

I didnt know David Lynch did Dune!!!!!!!! I need to get that movie!!!!!

Sky, I have the theatrical and the extended versions. Why limit yourself to one???
