no idea about avatar size. is mine legal or not?

esmer: 150x200 is the same as 200H and 150W

msmary: For a number of reasons. It's easier to manage physical size and file size, it's faster, and it's easier to control content. i understand that the edgetars are offsite but the system doesnt allow me to link to one site only - it's an all or nothing call. For those with edgetars, rather let me know what the dimensions and size are and I will see what I can do to accomodate them all

wf: I actually think that the sig images should be loaded into the album and referenced from there. Your sig image filesize is less than the avatar limitation so i don't see a problem - or maybe i don't understand the problem

If your avatar is the right size and dimensions, it should be possible to upload. I will do an upload test or two just to see if there's possibly a different problem that needs fixing

UPDATE: I made a booby !! I've set it as 150W and 200H now...it was set as 200W and 150H......I think that's what Esmer was trying to tell me Try uploading again - they should work

Well, hm, okay. I have an Edgetar. I downloaded it to my machine from my profile and uploaded it back to the Watch. And I got a message saying it worked. So I'm posting this as a test....

Edit: Seems to have done. We'll see for sure, once Vain gets out his ban stick this weekend....

Sorry. I see now that I've misread "avatar file size" as "avatar size".

I'm also going to prevent linking avatars to remote sites. You can upload your avatar and still use it so it shouldn't be an issue.

why do you want me to load up all my favorite avs here in the album?

i don't get that.

just download/save your current pic to your pc and then select "Upload Avatar from your machine:" in your profile.

thats not a problem. i know how to do it.

i shop for avatars. avatars are like...clothes.
one day i might be in the mood for this one,

makes no sense to me.

where did you get the idea you had to put them in the album? just keep them all in a folder on your pc and upload from there when you want to change it.

PS. i use two different pc's. so now i have to upload all my avs to both pc's?

you have them all in photobucket right? just go to photobucket on both pc's and save them to a folder.
