Will Cag's animated avatars fit within the new 50KB limit for avatars? Mine is over the limit, unless the limit is increased to 60KB.

And yes, it is true, I've lost the link, so even if it does win out, I might not be able to let democracy win the day. But if it does win, I'll at least get off my ass and look for it. The thing is, I saved it on a notepad file on some computer, but have no idea what I named it, where I saved it, etc., or what computer I saved it on. If it was one I still have access to (and not the computer I used at a job I have since left), then it might be able to be restored. Otherwise, I'll have to dig through the web. And I'll only play that game for so long. Then again, I might be able to find it at the source where I found it in the first place, but that will be as difficult as sorting for a pasted picture from the past on this forum. So if it wins, I'll try. If it doesn't, I won't. Either way, I'll probably get rid of Kermie.

Cag, if it is that much effort to find the av, keep in mind as of this weekend we can not use avatars that are linked to other sites. Not even our own photobuckets. All avatars have to be uploaded to the Watch, and currently the file size limit of them is to be no more than 50KB.

Good point by Menolly there. I forgot that you can't link av's off-site anymore. And yeah, it wouldn't surprise me if the saluting girls av was well over the 50KB size limit.

Sorry to say, but I think you're outta luck, Cag.

Vain did say he would consider increasing the file size limit if enough Watchers requested it and the requested increased size limit was reasonable. But y'all have to let him know if you want that to happen, either via PM or in the Sig and Avatar Creep thread in A&S.

As far as I know, so far I'm the only who has requested a slightly larger file size.

Just for avatars, as far as I understand Cag. I think we can still link to offsite sources in sigs, right Vain? As long as they are within a certain pixel size limit. I mean, your penguins are still working.

Or do those need to be uploaded to the Album as well?

I for one was never annoyed by Cag's saluting girls. I fear nothing eclipses my bouncing Wario avatar in the annoyance factor. Can you even read my post without looking at it?!
