Hey, y'see why I come to this neck of the woods more than any other...'cause the rules are least strict. For the most part. I have seen you lock a thread or two, which makes me weep. Well, of course now that I've finally got some power around this joint...I'll be MIA for awhile.
My mother has been in the hospital in Indiana since Feb. 21 -- congestive heart failure -- and has been going downhill since then. My brother called today to let me know that she's now in the ICU with renal failure. Basically, it's not looking good. So I'm flying to Chicago early-early tomorrow and will pretty much be off the grid for at least a week after that. (Mom doesn't have cable, let alone Internet service.)
The worst part -- well, apart from Mom dying -- is that I was supposed to leave for Spain tomorrow. I am *never* going to get to take that trip!
Anyway, I'll try to log on occasionally and keep y'all posted.
