lol...can you imagine a disgruntled haruchai woman with the ability to speak to her man using her mind any time she wants? she would order him before he even got to or left the gates of revelstone.all in plain hearing of his other haruchai friends , he could never get away with "sorry, I didnt hear you" can you imagine the the haruchais expression as he is mind speaking "Yes Dear" to his wife after she says dont forget..i want Nilguy for dinner tonight, and get some new sponge grass for our pillows, and dont forget to stop by and walk home with little Cairn after his Ak Haru lessons. then they would start in on,.."you always do what the lords say,Why is it always them first? Bannor get me my staff ..Bannor protect my backside from Urviles, Bannor, take this to the hall of gifts, ..why dont i come before the lords??" and then if being a haruchai is anything like training for a boxing match or a fight then having female companionship would have taken the edge away, made them less effetive at their job. a couple reasons i can see why they may have left them behind.

I think I would get confused. Sometimes it's hard enough to follow a woman's speech, much less their thoughts. Or a man's, for that matter. My thoughts are pretty non-sequential sometimes, and I'm a math guy.

I'm lucky that my wife is pretty logical.
