I'm seriously considering flying out to Denver to intercept that stop on the Thelma and Louise american tour. I would be up for hot springs but I kinda think exploring the Denver nightlife sounds more appealing to me. But it's Sea's trip so I think she should make the decision.

I'm pretty sure none of us would be in any condition to notice.

I drum better drunk.
Jenn, I hope you do so. I would really enjoy having you out here, especially since I've never met my adopted twin sister.

um...I'm so indecisive. I'll go with everyone else on this one. As I'd like to have left Denver by about 10am on Sunday morning, I suppose maybe we should stay in Denver rather than heading off another couple of 100km away...unless the springs are south of Denver?

Okay, guys, let's just nix the hot springs thang. I wasn't sure if I should bring it up in the beginning, and I wish I had listened to myself. And they are not south of Denver, so yes...let's just stick around where we are. It just sounds like more of a hassle than it is worth. And they could very well be booked already anyway. Since it is the summer, you usually have to book way in advance for weekend days.
I got a call from Jenn last night, so yay, she is officially coming as stated above. I was in the midst of dealing with DSL setup grumpiness when she called, so I might have sounded a little strange on the phone (especially since there is a constant buzzing on the phones now that Broadband has been set up on the lines which totally puts my teeth on edge). It was at that point with only one phone working with buzzing and my questioning whether or not I would need to call Qwest for help with the damn DSL and very grumpy when I got the call. Soon after the call, I got the DSL up and working, and the second (main) phone to work, so I took that as a good omen. Now I just need to set up my computer to work with DSL.
Oh, and Jenn, the lunchbox (a treasured possession) is already on display atop the fridge, so that won't need to move. But I'll put the stationary out in plain view for your arrival.

Caggie, you can get a filter for your phoneline that will remove the buzz.

Here's one:

Actually, I already had one, but I figured out what part of the problem was. Wireless DSL + wireless phone next to each = bad sound on phone. We swapped phones, and the one started working better, and the wireless worked better after hitting "channel." Now I just need to get my computer upstairs with DSL and I'll be happy. With stupid windows XP 64 bit edition, nobody makes drivers, so it's time to go back to regular XP 32 bit edition, which is fine by me.

I have booked into the Opal. 13th to the 16th.
I have a room with two double beds and have put occupancy of two (as, heh, it doesn't cost anymore!).
So anyone who needs someplace to sleep and wants to give me a buck or two and bunk with me is most welcome to do so.

Although the only rule is, when I wake up you don't talk to me for the first 15 minutes as I'm likely to bite your head off!

um...did you look at the list (which was last altered on the 7th). I may be a procrastinator but I'm kinda really well organized.
