For some reason Richard Gere comes to mind as Mhoram. But Ed Harris would also make a great Mhoram.

Saw Wrath of the Titans over the weekend. Noticed a particularly Mhoramish Ralph Fiennes in it. Sharing:

Thanks! Did you ever see my casting all thread? It's good for some laughs.

This is how I have always seen Mhoram in LFB. Sometimes Scott Bakula slips in there in later books, but in LFB he is always Mandy Patinkin. Sometimes I picture him as a hybrid of the two actors.

Interesting. Great casting idea. I see Mandy more as the Mhoram of the later books, rather than the younger LFB version...but I am also thinking of the older Mandy we now know rather than the one from Alien Nation or Princess Bride.

Couple this with the common suggestion of Hugh Laurie as TC and you have got a powerful dynamic.

However, the thought of Mandy's voice when singing as Mhoram in the Close....just gives me a frisson. Despite being usually thought of as an actor, the man can sing!

I have always pictured Mhoram as an old soul. Ian Holm would be great as Mhoram, in my opinion.

I'd say Liam Neeson, who has a distinct Mhoram nose.

And since he didn't get the Aragorn gig in the LOTR trilogy I think he should get this gig. 8)
