I finally watched Caspian last night, and (not having read the books) even I can see where the story should have had deeper themes and meaning... but the director just said, "Screw it, let's show a bunch of kids in a big battle!"
"You make me think Hell is run like a corporation."
"It's the other way around, but yes."
