I enjoyed the movie, purely because I am drawn to any movie that portrays dystopias - especially ones that restrict human expression so much. Admittedly, the film has flaws and is derivative. Yet, it shines. To be honest, it's better than the Matrix (which is massively derivative, and has deep flaws).

You sir, are something of a new breed of FanBoy- someone who loves the Matrix could be called a FanBoy (me!). But someone who loves Equilibrium much more than the Matrix???

Bull Honkity! If Bale had starred in the Matrix it would have been better, something about Reeves makes me not care.

'Disagree...Reeves has that near angelic face, somewhat a-sexual which lends to certain subconcious thoughts and relating attributes...kind of like Froto in LOTR...big eyes, acting and personality is very nuetral...

...Bale's teh freaking man...but he isn't quite the same...
