Rumor has it Steve Miller will be at Gator Growl this year, prior to his show in St. Augustine.

And TSO Chr-stmas show presale tickets went on sale yesterday. I hope there will still be seats by the time I can save up to get them. We were really hoping to bring Beorn with us to the show this year...

That's a month too early.

I've heard a little of their stuff, and want to purchase some. What is a good album from them?

Cag,
That's a month too early.
What do you mean?
I've heard a little of their stuff, and want to purchase some. What is a good album from them?
The Crane Wife (2006) was their first major-label album. It's excellent. I might like Picaresque (2005) slightly more. I recommend both. I'm less familiar with their earlier material.

Cool. I keep meaning to pick up their stuff, so I'll give those two a try.

And please don't make me explain my joke. Look at your original quote a little harder. Hopefully you'll catch it.

Anyone from Ontario? Eric Bogle seems to be touring every town. He's a great anti-war singer/songwriter.

Got to say, I feel like a complete doofus.

Wife was ill this morning, so I was looking after the kids, and the tickets for AC/DC completely slipped my mind - until about an hour after they had gone on sale and had sold out.

Looks like E bay touts for a ticket now. GRRRRRR

If you don't have any joy, Phantasm, drop me a PM. I met a professional tout at the races here earlier this year. He reckons he can get tickets for anything - so I got his number! Haven't used it yet though, so I don't know about prices or anything. But you can have it if you want it.

Tonight just gets better and better! Just spent the last hour watching The Levellers on Youtube, at a festival I was at last year, then checked their website, and they're playing here in town 4 days after my birthday.

*fainting with happiness* I've only seen them about 15 times. But they get better and better every single time!

Thanks for that, but my mate knows me well, and knew I'd forget so he got me a ticket - can't wait.
