Heavenly father watching us all
We take from each other and give nothing at all
Well it's a dog-gone shame
But never too late for change
So if your luck runs low
Just reach out and call his name, his name

Does this help at all Coveypoo?
Now take your pick of the modulation
Like a kid in a candy store
Now it's a hand-carry situation
It's made for lying on the beach
Or dancin in the streets
You got your pertinent information
Or you can tune in to hear the scores
Now there's a power in a million stations
You can't ignore
Come on and listen to the
Radio
Turn up the power, power
Radio
Rock it for hours and hours and hours
Radio
Now turn it soft and low
Portable radio
V-v-v-viva la
Portable radio
Crank up the power
Portable radio
Turn up the power all night(night night)~~

I don't understand this one? I own no Phil Collins CD's, I do not even have a particular fondness for Phil Collins.
I can feel it coming in the air tonight, oh lord
Ive been waiting for this moment, all my life, oh lord
Can you feel it coming in the air tonight, oh lord, oh lord
Well, if you told me you were drowning
I would not lend a hand
Ive seen your face before my friend
But I dont know if you know who I am
Well, I was there and I saw what you did
I saw it with my own two eyes
So you can wipe off the grin, I know where youve been
Its all been a pack of lies
And I can feel it coming in the air tonight, oh lord
Ive been waiting for this moment for all my life, oh lord
I can feel it in the air tonight, oh lord, oh lord
And Ive been waiting for this moment all my life, oh lord, oh lord
Well I remember, I remember dont worry
How could I ever forget, its the first time, the last time we ever met
But I know the reason why you keep your silence up, no you dont fool me
The hurt doesnt show; but the pain still grows
Its no stranger to you or me
And I can feel it coming in the air tonight, oh lord...
Yet this little nugget gets stuck in my head every time I hear it on the radio.

yuh huh. same here. urg. thats why they call 'em "hooks" i reckon!!
when i was still trying to write songs, i couldn't write a hook to save
my life.
now i'm sorta GLAD cause i'd hate to be the one responsible for some
of the hooks that get stuck in my head!!!
i can't TELL you how many songs i know all the lyrics to and i DON'T EVEN LIKE THE SONG!!! urg. my head is a lyric dumping ground.

Shine, sweet freedom; shine your light on me.
Though this is just one of many Michael songs on the CD, it nonetheless reminds me more of being at Seafest than any of the others.

Maybe it's because I had it stuck in my head for a good two or three days while I was in San Francisco.
