Shit. It probably was a glitch in the matrix. Seriously though. It freaked me the f__k out. The second time I was actually shaking a bit. I must be crazy right? Well, I am crazy but also alzheimers and worse runs in my family. I'm not sure which way to go now... acceptance or denial...

Actually books and stuff really worry me too. We've got Alzheimer's on my dad's side and I hate the idea of forgetting the plot of the book I'm reading.Lord Foul wrote:Accept it, but rebel against it by reading A Clash of Kings. At least you'll be doing something awesome when the Alzheimer's hits.
Now you're making me think about reading Latro in the Mist or watching Memento with alzheimer's. You're scaring me

When recovering from anorexia, I honestly felt like I had Alzheimer's or some kind of dementia. I was re-reading Lord Foul's Bane for the third time, but whenever I opened to the bookmark, I couldn't recall having read that far, so I flipped back several pages (despite being my third read). Before that, I finished White Gold Wielder--or did I? I honestly can't recall; a whole book, gone to a black hole.
Then again, I doubt anyone can remember every book they've read in their whole life or even the past two years (I suppose it depends on how voraciously you read and what else you do).

If I wandered around my house long enough, I could, because I don't really sell, give away, or lose my books. Though I can't find The Wild which really pisses me off. (that makes me think I must be eating books in my sleep, because I combed the house pretty seriously for it). Then again, I doubt anyone can remember every book they've read in their whole life or even the past two years (I suppose it depends on how voraciously you read and what else you do).
Of course, there are some problems I would run into, like books whose titles I can't recall even though I know the content (for instance, I read two books on the Ojibwe, who are from Toronto area, because my friend had them but the names were something generic like "Ojibwe tales" or something. Though one was written by Norval Morriseau). I also read the Dresden series b/c a friend lent them to me, but again I dunno what the individual titles are.

okay, okay, okay ya got the shakes,,the Big WTF...i can only suggest,,don't fear it..just because you experienced a different perception of reality,, doesn't make you crazy...I mean.." sleep" was nearby,,so..half asleep half awake could of been where your head was at..I'd chalk it up to " pretty neat" and aaaaa...open yourself up to the possibility of more...Let me put it to you this way Jenn..Salvidor Dali kept an easel and canvas with paints and brushes right by his bedside,, so he could capture on canvas as quick as possible the state of mind he had during sleep and dreams...
If she withdrew from exaltation, she would be forced to think- And every thought led to fear and contradictions; to dilemmas for which she was unprepared.

You sound as if you speak from experience.Lady Revel wrote:If you are wondering whether you are going crazy....you probably aren't.
When you are genuinely crazy, you are usually the last person to know.

Time is a waste of life
So get wasted all of the time
And you'll have the time of your life

Nearly thought I was having another episode of matrix glitches the other morning at the busstop but then I realized that the jogger was actually running around and around the same block.

I don't need to think I am crazy, I am crazy.
The trippiest thing is like when you look at your clock and it says 2.00am then you look up at your ceiling for like a 5 minutes then you look back at your clock and its says 5.00am.
Like you fell asleep during that period but you never realised you actually fell asleep then you never realise you woke up. Literally feels like you have been awake the whole time.
That makes you crazy, well makes me crazy.
