I don't know Ur Dead, I read the 1st Chrons when they first came out...oh 30 some odd years ago

'79 for me.

I came late to the game. I didn't start reading them until WGW came out in 1983.

I remember being so excited when I saw "The Wounded Land" in my high school library. Then devastated by what SRD had done to The Land. I vowed I would never forgive him...of course I was a teenage girl at the time..hehe

I agree, Furls. . . I had a hard time with the Second Chonicles because of that.

I had a very strong reaction, too (to the situation, not to SRD. ) A real sense of violation. My reaction to The Last Chronicles' "situation" was not as intense (not intending to introduce spoilers here of course.) But then again I am older and probably more jaded.

The Sunbane was/is pure genius. And then, of course, there was coercri. The "Second Chrons" are a masterpiece. And the "Last Chrons" are shaping up to be the same, "Fatal Revenant" blew me away.

And LOL MsMary!!! I didn't think that Jay was even finished with "Runes" yet...

Ah, but he has.
