You're not accounting for political correctness. It's not Canada who should change, it's us greedy, uncaring Americans. I think we should start calling ourselves Americians, so that we show Canadians that we understand (and apologize for) the struggles they go through, that we caused.

Speaking of, I was reading the 'Olympics' thread in Sports, and noticed the French surrendered again, this time to the women's volleyball team.

In their defense, I'd surrender to them too.

Actually the Chinese re-introduced chromosomal/hormonal gender testing at these games. They haven't been uses in the last two games I belive.

that's what we call our neigbours in the south. My wife is from Ecuador and when she came here she asked, "Why do they call themselves 'Americans'? There are many countries in the Americas (north, south and central), why to they call themselves 'Americans'?"

So we came up with "United Statesians"...
