check your spam email maybe? mine was from 'noreply'.
Also, I've just searched out slobeania and illumed and allied with them - before I do any more, is this what we'll be doing?

I'm a bit concerned at complexity! NS2 looks like fun, but what I enjoy about 1 is it's simplicity! I can log on in the morning while having my wake up, check issue, decide issue, in a few mins. NS2 looks like it'll be alot more involved, and I probably won't have time every day.

For now I'm doing the same, but am hopeful once Av is on World 20 that he will again create our region, even though we will be spread throughout the World on different continents.
While searching for Inis Rua, I came across a nation called Illumen. I sent a cautiously optimistic telegram of welcome to them...
But I want everyone to know I am still The Illumined, and Illumen is someone else.

From the NationStates2 forum, regarding the
Beta Keys, for those wondering...
I know most of you probably know this already but I can't take it anymore--the CSS has (since its inception) been flooded with people who can't read closely enough to realize or understand the fact that beta keys are distributed
at random and thus no guarantees can be made about when you will get one.
Reserving your NS1 nation guarantees the issuance of a beta key: you'll get it before the game goes live of course--otherwise the reservation process would have no point. I can't say when you'll get it, only that you will eventually. I'm given to understand that somewhere around 25,000 users have reserved their NS1 nation and we've only sent out about 5,000ish keys as of this writing. It's not at all unusual for most of you to not have them yet. Be patient!
If your verification link timed out or for whatever reason you need a new verification email, that can be done
here.

What I meant is I haven't heard anything about there being a NationStates 2. Until now.

...ah...
I think I first read about it in the News link on NationStates.net.
~*~edit~*~
Another update regarding NationStates2.
From:
Features and More Invites
Secondly, to let you know that you'll shortly be able to move continent and also make bulk/mass status changes. I don't have an exact date for these but it will be 'very soon'.
So hopefully, we can all get on World 20, and then maybe all migrate to the same continent should that be the route we want to take for our "region/alliance."

The Economy - wow how complicated does all that look

?
Menolly, i have a suspicion (unfounded) that we probably
shouldn'thave favoured trading partners just yet - later on, perhaps when our GDPs are higher and we know what we're doing better. but at the moment it means that we are receiving under the market price when selling anything to each other - good, I know, in that the other is paying less, but the wrong circumstances could mean that one of us takes a pounding/misses out on a killing when our economies are fledgling and weak, through no fault of the other.
i could be wrong, any other opinions?

Shall I set you to blue then for now?

not yet, maybe. Let's see how today's goes and then decide.
Edit:
Inis Rua (2) has made it to 'Benevolent Dictatorship' (my goal) after two moves! Woohoo! I'm probably bankrupt (haven't checked yet) but who cares.....

Did anyone else get an email asking to click a link to verify your email address, saying you don't have to, but if you don't, you'll be thrown out of NS2? When I click on link, it tells me that my verification key is invalid.
Edit: Menolly, both our GDPs continue to grow with trade status at favored, looks good to leave it....(famous last words?)

hmm...maybe when I first created my Nation, but nothing recently.

Excellent, Stone.
I'll admit I am still not pleased with the "ambassador" status option so you can purchase "Jennifers" to do things like espionage and the like. Hopefully, once War goes live, I won't regret my decision to not be an ambassador, and diplomacy will pay off instead.
[ugh...I friggin
suck at diplomacy...]

GDP continues to grow but my trade surplus is shrinking to scarily low levels. We need war! I have loads of ballistics but the market value is 0.03

It also seems my citizens are suffering from negative equity. I foresee a slump.....[/quote]

Stone...
The trade is auto-generated, right?
Or is there a way for us to set prices and supply?
Other than declaring nations priority partner or blockade, or the various levels inbetween?

As far as I can see, that's all we can do. I'm assuming that the market values are affected by what countries do as they develop. Hence ballistics are so low cos no-one's started a war yet.

Has anyone's NationStates2 resolutions and issues for today (Friday, 9/19) shown up yet? Mine usually show up about 11:00 AM, but so far not today.

I haven't checked mine tonight - leaving it to a lazy saturday morning tomorrow, but yesterday's issues were ones that I'd had before.....
