benignant miracle
Would that be a paradoxical benign yet malignant concatenation? ;)

mmm .. ::shakes head:: .. ::takes out chalk and faces black-board:: ;) ::writes::

benign .. is opposed to malign .. re: disease .. but even though this is a postive distincition .. the word is used in other positive contexts aswell .. I will not provide a history suffice to say it comes from the Latin .. benignus .. according the dicitonary-books used to provide definition to a given range of vocabulary ;) :p

ben ie: benefaction, beneficent, beneficial, beneficiary, benefit, benevolent .. refers to similar concepts of .. kindness or gentleness, favourableness etc ..

therefore .. a benignant miracle .. would be one I would beseech to favour myself .. an inferior .. in the context of being the recipient of said miracle .. and also regrettably re: the chess game .. ;)

And since I was not the recipient of said miracle .. I was also not a recipient of such benignity :( ;) :p
