For those of you who are wondering...yes, I am bitter.

I am so friggin' stupid. I can blame my loss on no one but myself. Ultimately I am responsible for myself not making the playoffs. As much as I would like to give other's credit for knocking me out of the post season, I can only kick myself in the ass.

Here's what happened. I picked up Toomer after I heard about Burress' situation. I had Toomer active and ready to go. I was on the fence and subbed him in and out of the line up with Forte a couple of times Sunday morning. Either play, and I would have made the playoffs. As I was changing the roster back and forth, I had on the ESPN pregame show in the bedroom, and they had these 2 jackasses on talking about how Anthony Gonzalez has scored touchdowns in 3 of the last 4 games, and has had increased production during that span. They continued to pump him up in regards to the matchup against the Brown's defense. The rest is history. I pick up Gonzalez and make a last minute sub to put him into the lineup.

I swear to god, I have never before made a sub or a pick up based on these so called prognosticators. The one time I do...the one and only time, the results are more than disastrous. I will go to my grave and never EVER make a roster move like this again. My god, I am such a fool. Why did I ever think that these idiots knew more than me? I went against every instinct and gut feeling that I had and made this horrendous play.

So that's my story. There will be no repeat champion in the league this year. The defense of my title has ended before it has began.

Good luck to all. I will play this loser's bracket through and see how I am judged by history and fate.

The Leviathan will return to reclaim my rightful place atop this league, that I promise.

As I stated...yes, I am bitter.

Well, save a spot on the couch of bitterness for me; I expect I'll be watching Brinn and Revelstone battle for this year's title.

At least I didn't suffer the hopes of making it any further than the loser's bracket before the second season started.

I think in this league the playoff series are each two weeks long? Is that correct or am I horribly misinformed?
War is an ugly thing, but not the ugliest of things. The decayed and degraded state of moral and patriotic feeling which thinks that nothing is worth war is much worse. The person who has nothing for which he is willing to fight, nothing which is more important than his own personal safety, is a miserable creature and has no chance of being free unless made and kept so by the exertions of better men than himself. You know, I read this, but had no idea that it meant each game was 2 weeks long. What an odd way to have a playoff.

..finishing 5th in the playoffs if much better than finishing 7th during the reg season. I've almost figured out the flex and am starting to judge rookies better so look out next year! I plan on beating Brinn every time I play him. Congrats Damelon, great effort on 2nd kins!
fall far and well Pilots!
