And if you are in the eastern time zone, it is rare for you to
ever see mine "off the Watch..."

HAHAHAH...and i thought they were an icon that lets you off the watch when you post a new subject or thread...Sort of a gate that lets you off when you contribute something new. I never asked untill I realised someone who i know has posted threads and subjects had an on the watch...

The main KW page is gone. 'Infrastructure failure' apparently. Jay's probably already aware, but I thought I'd mention it anyway.

I guess this is as good a place as any to ask... I've looked around a little, and didn't find an explanation.
Can you even get to
www.kevinswatch.com anymore? It just redirects to (this) the forums.
I had a cartoon there in the humor section...

I know Jay talked about closing it, but he's usually very slow about doing the things he talks about doing. In fact, I don't think he ever really does them. Case in point: he vowed to ban me back in '05 or so......

Yeah, sorry, we probably should have announced it. Jay lost his server space at his old school, so he just pointed the domain straight to the forum. (I don't think it is a 301 redirect actually, although that would be better.)
Fear not, all the stuff was saved, and we're thinking about how/where we can add it to the Watch.

Well make up your bloody minds already !!

The space is there - all it needs is some action - and I think having kw.com is useful

Huh? What? Oh, I get it.
Well, that's up to Jay.
Me, I'd like the forum URL to be the .com, but it's not really that important.

Oh, woops, I've been busy.
Facts:
1) Yes, the address
www.kevinswatch.com currently redirects people directly to the Kevin's Watch message board.
2) I kind of like it that way.
3) The old
www.kevinswatch.com stuff is no longer existent on the internet.
4) However, it is existent on my hard drive.
5) Currently, I don't have a strong desire to move any of that back online. Most of it is junk. However, there may be some things worth saving at some point. Mainly the book cover gallery. However, I do think whatever form it takes, it will be different from the old
www.kevinswatch.com format.
6) In conclusion, I'm pretty happy with the way things are set up now, but I'm always open to new ideas.

I'm happy. Looks like we picked up the PR and DMoz listing that the .com had, which is nice.
