Kidman probably uses lots of make-up and looks ugly in real life. You know how those stars are when they get caught waking up by the Paparazzi...dANdeLION wrote: And for the record, I think Jackman's prettier, though Kidman's more my type. Of course, I may change my mind about all of that when I go and see it.....

I pretty much ignore the works of the papernazis, especially after what happened to princess Di.
Dandelion don't tell no lies
Dandelion will make you wise
Tell me if she laughs or cries

I'm afraid there's no denying

Lady Tam loved it, and the kid was magical...other than that it was very overblown fluff. It did, however, make me froth at the mouth to see The Last Wave and Walkabout again. (I may have liked it better if they hadn't shown the 'colorized' version of The Wizard of Oz...I mean, for gods sakes, it's set in 1939, or close to that date...
)
edit: I'm not being nasty enough about this film-I'd rather watch The Thorn Birds 200 times in a row than ever see this again. I much prefer Jackman and Kidman singing to each other in Happy Feet, thank you very much...
