Just goes to show that SRD should've considered using High Lord Jay as the main villain (aside from Lord Foul) of the Last Chronicles. Think about it: a devious and powerful High Lord from out of the past who is utterly bent on destroying Linden! That's gotta be a page-turner.

Well, that's a good point. But, without stepping onto spoiler landmines, SRD seems to be throwing everything but the kitchen sink in Linden's way, so why not High Lord Jay as well? (Heck, I could picture him throwing a kitchen sink at Linden!)
